Boating on Green Lake
Green Lake is large and deep, and has become a very popular destination for summer recreation just outside of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Its waters are great for fishing, but it’s large size has made it popular for other forms of boating and water recreation as well. Along the lake, there are 6 public access locations to Green Lake, including 3 public boat launches, and the popular swimming beach Salisbury Beach. Guests at Spicer Castle Inn, however, have private access to Green Lake via our dock. Your welcome to bring your own boat, and dock in our lagoon to take full advantage of vacationing on the lake. We also have a canoe, paddleboat, sailboat, and fishing boat available for rent, so everyone can enjoy the best 
parts of summer in Minnesota. One look at this stunning lake, and you’ll quickly understand why it’s one of the more popular lakes in Minnesota.
After a full day of fun on the lake, you’re free to relax at our beautiful lakeside patio. Happy hour at our waterfront restaurant is from 4:30 – 6:30. Alternatively, you can head to Glacial Ridge Winery, before returning to the Inn for a delicious dinner at our waterfront restaurant. There’s a wonderful summer concert series happening at the winery as well, which is a wonderful way to spend a relaxing evening in Spicer. Otherwise, your time at the Spicer Castle Bed and Breakfast is yours to enjoy as you please. Each evening, enjoy sitting around the fire pit–there are even free S’mores for you to enjoy!
